On visiting Leigh Woods I found a huge area of woodland floor had been destroyed using brush cutters. The species strimmed down included bluebells wild garlic and wild primrose. Only the day before I'd witnessed butterflies and bees feeding on the plants in the area. The Forestry Commission of all organisations should know destroying habitat is a criminal offence. It is also a criminal offence to harm native bluebells. There was no justification to cut the area down, none at all.
